The Story of Quietdrive: The Condenced Version (as I know it anyway). The band was originaly known as Quietdrive. It was almost the same line-up as it is now, except there was no Kirby. Back in the early QD days the music was more rock and violin, and less pop and emo. Kevin had a side project with Kirby that they called "Sneaker 2 Bombs". Eventually, the band decided to just fuse the two bands and switch the the name to Sneaker 2 Bombs, in the summer of  '04. Soon after becoming S2B, the band announced being signed to Epic Records, in the winter of  '05, and quickly went to Atlanta to record their full length debut. They had to change the band name though. "The Never Ending" was their first choice. Most people weren't too happy about it, and they finally setteled on a name that would seem to work out pretty good: Quietdrive. The realease of the debut full length on Epic got pushed back, and now is set for a Jan. 2006 realease. But to keep ever body happy they are releasing an EP, Fall From The Ceiling, this summer. THE ENDING, as of now....
